A new addition to the Tour, Plink says he’s eight years old but shows off a unique, rapid combat style that hints at prior experience. Even stranger, Plink says he’s from The Desolation, which has been a lifeless wasteland since the RocketBot Uprising after "minor" RocketBot programming issue. Something doesn’t add up about him, but he’s a nice kid and a great all-around competitor with a teleporter, Scrap Rockets, and a Boomerang.
PLINK, a plucky eight-year-old boy, is a first-year participant in the Rocket Championship Tour. What is most peculiar about the lad is that he claims to hail from THE DESOLATION, which has been a lifeless wasteland since the RocketBot Uprising. It is, by law, completely off-limits to the inhabitants of Crater.
Putting that aside, he seems like a nice kid, relentlessly upbeat and sweet natured. He looks up to all of the other competitors, but he has developed a particularly strong bond with Jayto over their shared love for repairing rockets.
Plink says that his parents are tech-trash scavengers, who taught him to cobble together the gear he uses. This includes his SCRAP ROCKETS, which he makes out of spare parts, the BOOMERANG which ricochets off walls and can even collect items, and the biggest surprise, his Special Attack, the SKEDADDLE BALL – a spherical gizmo which, when tossed on the ground, teleports him from one location to another! (These are line-of-sight, medium distance hops, so he can’t, say, zip off to Icefall Keep for a Sno-Cone and then pop back to The Wilds).
